


As I was moving through the marsh, the stillness of wetlands was astonishing. Life on all sides, above, and below. Noises of song, movement, and warning filled the air yet on the surface was quite.

The sounds were so intense, large mammals moving through, alligators attracting mates and the smallest of birds making the biggest of songs stood in contrast to the stillness of the surfa of the wetlands.

During the driest times in the wetlands areas normally inaccessible present views that are rich with colors and textures that stay hidden by the marshes and protected by the reptiles that rightfully claim as their own. This piece is inspired by such a glorious moment.
